2021 Paralympic Games: two more silver medals for Tunisia
Tunisia brought its harvest at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games to six medals on Tuesday, August 31 .
Indeed, the sprinter Rouay Jebabli won a silver charm in the 1500 m T13 with a time of 3min 54sec 55. This is his first participation.
He was beaten by the Russian Anton Kuliatin (3: 54.04), the new Paralympic champion. Australian Jaryd Clifford (3: 54.49) completed the podium with his bronze medal.
Tunisian shot putter (F36) Yassine Guenichi also won a silver medal with a throw of 15.12m.
Russian Vladimi Svidirov, who won gold, broke the world record with a 16m45 throw. The German Sebastian Dietrzsb (14m81) occupies the third step of the podium.
