New twist around the Djibouti-Algeria match. Scheduled for November 12, this meeting of the 5th day of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup will finally take place at Cairo Stadium. It was initially scheduled at the Alexandria stadium.
Djibouti, whose stadium is not approved, initially considered asking Egypt for hospitality.
Letters had also been sent to CAF and to the Egyptian and Algerian federations.
The Djiboutians had even also considered a withdrawal to Marrakech (Morocco). But, they had finally reconsidered their initial choice, that of Egypt.
