CAN U23: Guinea inherits Nigeria in the third round
The Guinea U23 national team
Exempted from the first round, the Syli U23 were to play against Uganda in the second round. Due to the withdrawal of the Ugandan team, Guinea moved on to the next round. After a draw (1-1) in the first leg against Tanzania, Nigeria won (2-0) this Saturday, October 29, 2022 in the return leg. Winner (3-1) over the two games, the Super Eagles therefore eliminate Tanzania and will face Guinea in the next round. The first leg will be played in Nigeria and the return in Guinea. The third qualifying round of CAN U23 is scheduled in Morocco from March 20 to 28, 2023.
