RAWC 2022: Burkina in Pool D with Ivory Coast and Cameroon
Burkina Women’s National Rugby Union TeamThe women’s XV of Burkina Faso now knows its opponents after the draw for the 2022 Women’s Rugby Africa Cup (Rugby Africa Cup 2022).
The female Stallions are housed in group D. They will be in the company of Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon. The XV of Burkina Faso will enter the competition on November 8 against the Ivorians. The Cameroonians will then follow on November 12. The competition will take place from November 2 to 13, 2022 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The African Women’s Rugby Union Cup is a continental competition between the best African national teams, organized by Rugby Africa. Housed in the pool South Africa (pool A) is the defending champion and qualified for the 2021 World Cup.
Pool B: Uganda, Kenya, Zambia
Group C: Tunisia, Senegal, Madagascar
Pool D: Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast
