Amputee World Cup: Angola and Tanzania in quarterfinals
Angola face Brazil in the quarter-finals.
Angola and Tanzania won, Wednesday, October 5 in Istanbul, their qualification in the quarter-finals of the Amputee World Cup. The Angolans eliminated England on the smallest of marks thanks to a goal by Adao Heno (62′), while Tanzania dominated Japan on penalties (1-1 and 3-1).
Angola will face, Thursday, October 6, Brazil for a place in the last four. For its part, Tanzania will challenge Haiti, while Morocco will have to rub shoulders with the host country.
The only African representative eliminated, Liberia nevertheless won its classification match against Spain (2-1).
