Liberia will not play the CAN U17
The UFOA-A zone is currently playing in Mauritania the qualifying tournament for the next CAN U17 scheduled for 2023. This Monday, Liberia was to face Mauritania on behalf of group A. But the meeting is canceled. The reason, CAF has just excluded the Liberian team from the competition.

“CAF has excluded Liberia from the UFOA/A U17 tournament, in accordance with article 27.4 of the CAN regulations for the category, due to the ineligibility of 2 players from Léon stars U17 pinned for the test of the ‘age through magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI)’ reads a press release from the Mauritanian Football Federation.
