Barça: Baghdad Bounedjah on the short-list?

FC Barcelona are looking for a striker. With Sergio Aguero who has a heart problem, the Catalan club is looking for a center forward. And according to the Catalan daily Sport, an Algerian international would be among the targets. This is Baghdad Bounedjah, the striker of Al-Sadd , the Qatari club.
That’s good, Baghdad Bounedjah could find his former coach Xavi in Catalonia. The latter now occupies the bench of Barça. Which could facilitate the transaction. Not sure, however, that Al-Sadd wants to part with such a valuable asset. The Algerian striker has already scored 11 goals this season in the league, in just 9 days.
The 29-year-old is also under contract until 2024. Barcelona will therefore have to put their hands in their pockets. And for Baghdad Bounedjah, it could be a big leap forward to sign for Barça.
