A package in the ranks of the Pharaohs. Central defender Ahmed Hegazi has left the Egypt national team training camp. The latter will complete his rehabilitation. The 31-year-old recently returned from an adductor injury which sidelined him for almost three months.

He had even missed 10 games between his club and his selection. Egypt host Naby Keita’s Guinea on June 2 at the National Stadium in Cairo before traveling to Malawi to challenge Ethiopia on June 9 in Group D of the CAN 2023 qualifiers.
