FA Cup Preview – Quarter-Finals | Man City vs Burnley | Man Utd vs Fulham《Eastafricanreport》

Edge of the Box is back and Dan Bardell is once again joined by Jonathan Wilson with Eaatafricanreport.com‘s very own Ciarán McLoughlin joining proceedings to discuss the biggest talking points from this week’s FA Cup and Premier League action.

The show starts with a run through of the Champions League Team of the Round, before getting into the big games coming up this week.

The FA Cup quarter final between Manchester City and Burnley is up next where the panel take a look into who will be the best replacement for Pep once his time at City is up and whether Vincent Kompany is the right man for the job. Then, on to the ones to watch for Burnley who are currently taking the Championship by storm, and with the title all but wrapped up the panel dive into whether they will go full strength for the cup.  Lastly on this match, Kevin De Bruyne’s recent form is analysed after Pep questioned his ability to do the ‘simple things’ in the press.

Manchester United vs Fulham is up next and the key battle here is between the two midfields. United will have to cope with injuries and suspensions when they face Fulham who welcome back their second highest rated player of the season, Palhinha. Casemiro has been a key player for Ten Hag but has found himself receiving  his fair share of cards and suspensions already this season, the panel discuss his disciplinary record and it’s implications to United’s success before covering how much of a priority the FA Cup is to Ten Hag given their European duties and battle for the top four.

The episode then heads to the Premier League to dive into Chelsea vs Everton. Everton have started to show positive signs since Sean Dyche took over and the panel look into who the key contributors to that are before taking a look at Chelsea’s best performing formations as Potter looks to have finally found his rhythm.
