The Burundi beat (2-1) Myanmar, Saturday, Nov. 13, in a friendly in Antalya (Turkey). It was the first confrontation between the two selections.
Burundi, which is not qualified for the CAN 2021 in Cameroon (January 9-February 6, 2022), is preparing the qualifications for the 2023 edition in Côte d’Ivoire, while the Burmese will participate next December in Singapore in the 1st round of the Suzuki Cup , a competition reserved for selections from Southeast Asia.
