Somalia: Four footballers perish in terrorist attack
Somali football in mourning. A terrorist attack has indeed killed four footballers. Five others are injured. The players are residents of a local club. The attack occurred on Friday July 30.
According to the English media, The Guardian, the team went to Kismayo in the south of the country to take part in a game championship. A bomb was reportedly placed in the training bus.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. But investigations are underway to determine those responsible for the explosion.
