The Paris Court of Justice delivered its verdict this Thursday, November 3, in the case between the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fécafoot) and its former equipment supplier. The body orders ” the maintenance of contractual relations ” between Le Coq Sportif and Fécafoot ” under two contracts: equipment supplier partnership contract and license concluded on January 10, 2020 until the end of the contract, i.e. December 31, 2023 ” .

The Paris Court of Justice also condemns Fécafoot to pay 3,000 euros (nearly 2 million CFA francs) to the French firm for irrecoverable costs.

The court’s decision gives Le Coq Sportif the latitude to bring a second lawsuit for damages against Fécafoot. Indeed, Fécafoot and Samuel Eto’o ended the collaboration with Le Coq sportif, before its end, on July 1 ,  2022. A rupture described as abusive by the equipment manufacturer who then seized the Paris Court of Justice . In the meantime, the boss of Fécafoot has recruited the One All Sport brand to dress the national teams of Cameroon. It has even already made the first Lions equipment for the World Cup.
