World Cup 2022-Morocco: Pedri “we must respect them …”
Morocco, the only African team still in contention, will challenge Spain on Tuesday for a place in the round of 16 of the World Cup. The Spanish midfielder, Pedro Gonzalez Lopez known as “Pedri”, is wary of the Atlas Lions. He believes that Morocco has enormous potential that no team should overlook.
“ We know that Morocco has a lot of quality players. Many players play in elite clubs. And so I think it will be a tough game. Hakimi is one of the team’s key players, and we know what he’s capable of. We see him playing for Paris Saint Germain. We have to respect them because they came top of Group F and are doing a great job ,” Pedri said in the pre-match press conference.
